Competitive versus mode is really fun. Even 30 years later. I remember I watched a evo stream or something of a bunch a different people competing in it and it looked really fun and I had to try it. Simple but fun.

The game that got me into games. I can not express how much this game effected me. Going from atari to this was game changing. Games before were a time waster and now they became so much more. I felt like I was playing my own batman movie. From the cool movie cutscenes and fun gameplay this was legendary for me. Music was awesome and It really sold the tim burton like atmosphere. I could go back and play this anytime.

Also loved sunsoft batman gave no fucks and straight up murdered Joker.

A solid run and gun game that is really fun with another player. Game is colorful and bright, a thing you don't see in many shooters. Gameplays really well and is responsive. Collecting the different weapons and mixing and matching them up was a really good idea. It's a game that is very easy to go back to today.

The dice stage is still one of the most fun stages ever. I'll take a whole game like that anytime. Also Melon Bread.

I've tried to beat this game two times but both times stopped right before the final ganon before quitting.

Best sports game of all time. I think it edges out No Mercy.

Played the shit out of this game. 50 man royal rumble pin fall elimination only followed by 3 hours of raw was bliss.

It's a blast to play even to this day. The blocky N64 graphics are really charming here. The gameplay is super tight balancing arcade fun with some of the realism of the sport. The character roster is really good and the creative wrestler function while not as robust as the PS1 games and later titles is nice. You can customize the regulars wrestlers too. Doesn't matter the most important thing is the game is just so fun to play with a large amount of modes and match types. The core gameplay just hasn't been beat.

Best sequel to anything ever. I can't express how much I love this game. It and Chrono Trigger are my all time favorite games. They are such good companion pieces.

FF8 was my first RPG and after playing that and loving it I wanted to play something else just like it. Then I remembered watching a commercial on TV that showed off this game and I was thinking how beautiful it looked and I wanted to try it based on that. That's right a US television commercial sold me on this game. Crazy I know.

Even though this is a follow up to Chrono Trigger, I didn't know that at the time. Looked stand alone enough to me and with out context and can be but what I didn't know was how much this really was a follow up to another story. Immediately, I was taken aback by the visuals and music. Game looked and felt like I was playing a piece of art or a painting. The visual style was like nothing else I played and it really captured me. I was already a big fan of prerendered backgrounds in games like FF8 and Resident Evil but this game took it a step further. This was such a cool world. I loved the look of the characters and the locales and very much absorbed myself into this world.

The story starts out simple enough but the more you get into it the deeper it gets. You start off by being transported into any dimension that is just like the one your from except for small changes here and there. Like in this one your character Serge is dead in this relm. So you try to find out how you died in this world and how you even got here and along the way you meet a bunch of characters and get roped into doing various things. I love all the set pieces of the game and traveling from town to town seeing what would happen next. Just visiting home world and going into another to see the sometimes subtle changes in the characters or personal stories really paints out the world. Can one small decision completely change a life? I was hooked from start to finish.

The gameplay was really fun too. I like how there are like 50 characters and you can choose who you want to play as when you like and not feel like you are lagging behind in battle stats. Sure a lot of them are superfluous but it's okay. Your not forced to use anyone you don't want to and the game fleshes out about 10-12 of the main ones pretty well. Every character has their own weapon and several different strike animations that use stamina based on hit percentage to build up levels of magic. Everybody shares the same spells and they are customizable based on a grid dependent on the character and everyone has three unique special attacks they can learn. The battle system is easy to learn and it always feels like I'm doing something different as opposed to just spamming my best attack like in some RPGs. You only level up during bosses and normal fights only earn a fixed amount of exp and are only really useful for obtaining weapons, armor, accessories and loot. So no grinding necessary and use whatever characters you want.

I can talk about this game all day so I'll try to wrap it up. This is a game that stuck with me a long time and I still think and play it a lot to this day. To me this game is magical and I just adore it's world and characters. It's music, which is highly regarded as if not one of or THE best soundtrack of all of gaming, just takes me away into it's fantastical world into an adventure to save all of space and time. The game has such a complex story when it's all said and done but I never felt like it was nonsensical or full of itself. You know what happens but it's all the small details that the creators put into it that makes it so special. I think it's an excellent follow up to Chrono Trigger. Chrono Trigger is perfect. I don't want CT2. I wanted this even if I didn't know it. A game that follows the world and action of the first game from a different side. Alright I'm starting to ramble. CC is my second favorite game behind CT and I think it's a game that everyone should try at least once. The CT and CC world is one of my favorite fantasy worlds and this game is a big reason why.

I've never seen a game start so strong and just crumble to dust.

Bought this for 20 bucks on day 1 sold it for 250 bucks today lol great game though.

All things considered though it is a pretty good game. It really is the faculty the game. Single player and multiplayer co op horror games are pretty rare and this one does it pretty well so it's special in on it's own just for that. I enjoyed it.

Once I unlocked dante I never played as joe again.

2007

I played this a lot. It was 4.99. It let you take any of your MP3's you had on your PSP and turned them into a music visualizer and ddr like rhythm game. It was crazy addicting and the value for the price great.

This might be my favorite CV. Yes I actually prefer the remake to Rondo of Blood. Plus like the remake comes with Rondo and Symphony so it's a double win. While Rondo is a great game, I can see some people not liking the art style of this game compared to that one. I actually like it. I think it gives it a more horror theme pallet. I also don't hate the redesigns and new features. For one they made the final boss so much better in this version. Also the music is just of a better quality. I don't understand the hate for this one. I mean it's not the SNES Dracula X.

Hacked my psp to play a fan translation of this and it was definitely worth it. This game has to be one of the most content rich packages on the PSP right up there with Dissidia Final Fantasy. The story and characters are a vast improvement from VC2 with even more gameplay refinements. Honestly to me it's the complete package for a portable game. More of everything that was good from the last one and fixes all the kinks and problems too. Really dug the story and the cutscenes. Easily a top contender for best PSP game. It's a damn shame so many people didn't get to play this game outside of Japan. I'd kill for a real localization and port.

Gameplay and graphics sucked but man the music was awesome

My favorite FPS. I just loved everything about it. The characters and it's fun story are great and it makes me laugh a great deal but the real draw is it's amazing visuals and style. The music and retro design really appeals to me and all the cool sound effects that accompany them are fantastic. I can still vividly remember stealth killing a guy hearing his robo groan and turning around to shurikan another guy as lazers whizz past me. I greatly enjoyed going to base camp to base camp and experiencing the pure joy of the gameplay. My only complaint was it wasn't long enough. I crave for another one just like it and it's visuals. I never even played a Far Cry game but would immediately play another blood dragon game in an instant.
