The original Last of Us took what it's contemporaries had done and perfected it. The Last of Us Part 2 builds it's own foundation and stands it's ground with it. Mechanically it surpasses it's competition in nearly every way. Though not as floaty or breakneck in pace as Naughty Dog's flagship Uncharted, TLOU2 manages to make it's characters physical and emotional weight hit with the force of a truck.

If you were to play only one game in this franchise this would be it. With a blend of fun and interesting gameplay, as well as two protagonists with their own stories which could equally rival the length of most AAA games. Yakuza 0 oozes style in a way few JRPG's have.
