Temple Run 2

Sinking about an hour into this game, I learned recently that Temple Run 2 is actually a bit better than the first one. The first game is total buns in my opinion. This one feels a tad more polished up and easier to play. Still nothing crazy at the end of the day, for my taste at least.

Final Fantasy
2021
Final Fantasy 1 was NOT my intro to the series, but I did play this remaster a year or so back and completely forgot. The combat stays slick like other entries, and I'm surprised how much the team had down from day one, assuming the game more-or-less played the same back then. The story doesn't hook me by any means, but adventuring the world and fighting mobs all felt like a standard JRPG experience in a good way. Fun game!

Listen, these past few months have been tough for me in terms of games. Every time I tried to play a game, I just felt bored. No matter how fun the game was, it was just... boring. And this really sucked, because I love games, and I played every week, so to just quit gaming... Yeah it was rough.
So after a few months with no game time, I was bored, and decided to pick up my switch. I played different games, and yeah. It was still boring. Then I decided to revisit my favourite game of all time. And holy crap man, all I got was pure unfiltered joy. I don't think I have ever felt so much joy in a game, I kept running jumping, platforming for hours among end. I was addicted. I was back to playing games.
So thank you Mario Odyssey. Thank you.

This game has the best soundtrack of everything ever. I don't think there is any doubt about that.
And listen, Megelovania and Hopes and Dreams are masterpieces and all (especially the latter), but people really need to appreciate Undertale (the song). It is my favourite track in the game, and is so relaxing. Please search it up on youtube NOW.
