I didn't like it much until the Vergil boss fight. From then on, this game just goes wild. If the idea of an electric guitar axe that shoots electric bats and pillars of light is appealing to you in any way, play this game.

Happy Chaos meta simulator.
Yes, it is that bad.

Free anime furry Sekiro boss rush. It's literally that, and it's pretty damn good for what it is.

2022

Charming as hell, wonderful art, wonderful puzzle design, and really intriguing in its own way. Has way more content than it'd need too if you want to try for different endings or to fill the True Gallery.

Best story of all time? More likely than you think. Play Umineko, no excuses.

A nice and fun game, its length is pretty much adjusted so it doesn't feel too short or long. It's a good time.

I bought this game for 10 bucks and sold it for 20, and I still feel it wasn't worth it.

Easy to learn, cool as hell, lots of robots to choose from, and literally crack*. It gets even better with the following entries like Maxiboost ON.

*I've never done crack**

**Assault burst probably feels better anyways

This game has you repeat half of the story 3 to 4 times to finish it, the combat is a bit bland (all weapons of the same type are just reskins with different stats, but the move set doesn't change at all), the magic spells you get from the beginning of the game are the best during the whole adventure, and it suffers from the Evangelion syndrome, where most of the worldbuilding is never explained in-game and you need to get to additional material to understand the "why" in most of it.

It's tied with a couple others as my favourite game of all time. Do play this game, it's an experience that can't be compared to any other (except perhaps NieR Automata). The OST of this game is absolutely wild (arguably most themes were better in the original, but that's not important, they still rock). The characters are amazing, the art is on an incredible level, and Yoko Taro's view on post-9/11 humanity is really worth a deep look.
