This is my first Resident Evil game and what a game to start off with. One of the most fun and engaging action/horror games I have ever experienced. The gameplay is so sharp and so well-tuned that I'm kind of nervous to play the other ones in case they feel inferior in comparison. I really enjoyed the world and the detail added to every single pixel on screen and while the story didn't really engage me all that much, I still liked the relationship between Leon and Ashley and watching it develop was a nice change of pace from the heart pounding shootouts the other 80% of the time.
