I enjoyed Pizza Tower immensely. The platforming is fluid and fast-paced, and the art style and animations are top notch! The game was challenging, especially for a game without a traditional health bar (There are some exceptions). I like the “score attack” element to the game, which has kept me coming back for more to improve my ranks long after I beat the game. Also the music SLAPS.

Dave the Diver is a game that was made with love. It has fun characters, charming animations, and an addicting gameplay loop.
I enjoyed how the game was broken up between going on dives which had an action/adventure feel, and a restaurant management sim which was more relaxing and strategic. It amazed me how many different kinds of sea creatures made it into the game, and the way many of them were presented are super creative. I learned the names of several fish and sharks thanks to this game. The weapon variety was good, and each dive felt unique.
My only complaint with the game is that it had a bit too much “content” for my taste. What I mean by this is that there are a bunch of minigames and side stories that are really not connected to the core game. Some of these are really fun (My favorite is the seahorse racing) but I think the devs went a tad overboard. I didn’t need a rhythm game dream sequence.
I had a fantastic time playing Dave the Diver, and I will definitely take another dive into it in the future!

This visual novel slapped. The characters are wonderful (Except for Joseph. He sucks.) and the cul-de-sac feels like a real community. I had fun trying to juggle being a good father while chasing after my dream daddies.
My only complaint is that for a game about dating, the story was surprisingly lacking in romance. The focus of the dates mostly leaned on building friendships with the daddies. Don’t get me wrong, I am a sucker for a good friends to lovers story; I just wish that we got to spend a little more time in the Lovers phase in Dream Daddy.
That being said, the dates are SUPER fun, and I highly recommend this visual novel to anyone who enjoys a good dad pun.
