One of the best roguelikes I've played so far
It's really cool seeing the pokemon from generations past 2 in this style, including the black and white world itself. liked a lot of the demake music including the new rendition for team plasma. Overall has been a treat for me, probably not for everyone though, even if it is for the best generation 😎

really fun movement, some nice platforming challenges to test how well you can use your abilities that you can find throughout the game, great soundtrack. something i really want to stress if you do play it: the first boss isnt hard, it has a lot of health. you just need to be kinda patient and watch how it fights, besides that: great chance you'll get lost during exploration. the update that adds the map does help, but not being able to see your exact location on said map does end up slowing the pace of the game, unfortunately. aside from that though the game was a fun time for me
Game has a less entertaining story and visual identity than p4d. There's no store so you just unlock things over time, could see that as good but you also start with nothing. Songs, personally are okay for the most part compared to p4d's songs/remixes. Doubt I'm giving it any more than a 4 rn. Haven't played p3d as of yet but as far as I'm concerned, it's pretty much the same game and will also be a 4 most likely. Maybe even a 3 if the remixes aren't good. (Doubt it it will get that low though.)

Aside from the framerate being somehow worse than the original (I'm hoping they start sending out a fix for this, but this is current age Square Enix. I don't see it happening) the game was just as fun if not more fun than I remember, having the added speed up function from the get go instead of waiting til new game + is a good quality of life addiction, plus it's a decent work around for the framerate issues. As far as the radical dreamers portion, I enjoyed it but I definitely see it as not everyone eles cup of tea in this day and age. BUT, im glad I could finally get to play it since it wasn't available here with a proper translation.
Overall I had a blast as I did when I was younger, I can easily see myself playing again in the future
