only marginally better than the game before because the story is somewhat intelligible (up until the end). as with the last one, great potential is wasted on gameplay loop that is, among other things, not really that fun.

The longer I sit and think on this game's potential the more upset I get about it. An incredible story and atmosphere is squandered on a buggy, bloated, overly confusing, mess of a game.

you seriously need to turn off all the ui in this game except for stuff like grenade indicators. seriously. turning off the quest markers alone brings this game from like two stars to three and a half, but the clutter of the default hud is ridiculous. they give you super granular control to reduce it, and reduce it you should.
