I feel like I have to justify for giving this 4 stars, since Silent Hill 2 is leagues above this game in terms of storytelling.
Heather is such a fun and awesome protagonist, she really carries the story and I really cared about her and wanted her to be happy.
The combat while nothing groundbreaking is leagues better than Silent Hill 2's combat, and the horror elements in this game were really well done.
I think as a game it stands rightfully along Silent Hill 2! Even if the story isn't as good, it's still a fun story and a great game!

Will definitely update this review as the game gets more updates, but in it's current state it's just okay. I had a fun enough time with it but the original The Forest is way better at the moment. The game definitely has potential though and I think as the updates roll along it could be as good as or maybe better than the original.
