Amazing Mario kart overall. Looking back on it, it’s very graphically dated. However it’s hard to ignore the impact this game left on the Mario kart games. 4 out of 5 stars.

Really fun game. The premise is creating a character, and messing around on your skateboard. You can play on different maps, perform tricks, learn new tricks, train, and play with friends. Awesome game, still holds up really well.

Amazing entry into the burnout series. It got rid of that stupid timer that was in the first two games, and made the racing mechanics a lot better. An amazing element they added to this game that ultimately made the series so much more fun was takedowns. You can smash into your opponents to make them crash. The burnout games have always played like arcade racers, and this game doesn’t stray far from that formula at all. In fact aside from crazy taxi, it is the most console arcade racer you could possibly play. The only real problem I had with this game was there were not a ton of car paint colors to choose from. Besides that, amazing game and still holds up really well. 4.7 out of 5 stars.

Amazing game. Super fun and takes a lot of skill to get good at. Can’t go wrong with car soccer. Love the different goal explosions, player anthems, and car modifications you can equip onto your presets. Only minor issue I have with this game is the community can get pretty competitive. Besides that, excellent game. Would highly recommend.

Overall, pretty good game. You have your races, road rages, time trials, etc.. Face off was brought back which was absent from revenge. The open world theme was amazing and it was a real breath of fresh air for the burnout series. I will say, it was really annoying that there was no way to set way points on the map, and that every event was really far away. Another thing, it was an absolute SIN for them to get rid of crash mode. Crash mode is part of what made the burnout series so fun. Still tho, I’d be lying if I said I didn’t have a blast playing this game when I did. 3.5 out of 5 stars.

If this was like 2014, I’d say 5 stars without hesitation. Brings back so many memories and played it religiously. However, I think time just ruined this game. It’s one of those games that just has no ending. Kind of like candy crush where more worlds and levels just keep getting released. While time passed, we got older and stopped caring. As Pop cap released new worlds, introduced more plants, focused on micro transactions, and released PVZ 3 which no one really cares about nor asked for, it’s obvious they milked this game for everything that it’s worth and we grew too old and tired of it. 3 out of 5 stars.

Not too much to say about this game, besides the fact that it’s not that good, and the coin gimmick got so overdone by end of the second world. I liked how the tanooki leaf returned but that was about it. The other “new” power up’s introduced just felt like they were playing into the coin gimmick. Overall, not good, 2.5 out of 5 stars.

This game brings back so many memories it’s insane. Pop cap really nailed it out of the ball park with this game. Such a simple to understand plot a four year old can grasp it. Defend the home owner from having his brains eaten using your plants to defend. I love how unique all the plants are, how some of them attack, defend, or assist you in collecting coins and gems. But the thing I love most of all about this game is the soundtrack. I find my self from time to time searching up the soundtrack for this game on YouTube and bopping my head to some of these catchy tunes. Overall, amazing and fun and game that brings back so many memories. I’m feeling a 4.5 out of 5 stars on this one.

It’s Minecraft, what more has to be said. Only thing that needs to be said about Minecraft is reflecting on all the memories this game gave me and my friends hits different.

Amazing overall. Great first instalment to this NSMB series. The plot is as follows, Bowser gets his son Bowser Jr to do his dirty work for him and kidnap the princess, forcing Mario to venture through different worlds to get to the final castle. Your basic Mario plot. However the gameplay is what matters, and boy does this game ever have great gameplay. I love how unique all the worlds and levels are, how the enemies like goombas and koopa troopas were brought back to life as it was a while up until the point this game was released that a new Mario bros instalment had come out, and all the new power up’s that this game introduced. The power up's that were introduced to this game was the mini mushroom, the blue turtle shell, and of course, we can’t forget about the mega mushroom. All these items brought new elements to the table that were not even considered in games like super Mario world, Mario bros 3, and the original Mario bros on the Nintendo. Sneaking through little cracks, rolling around in a turtle shell, and destroying everything on your path were ideas that weren’t even considered before. You could even play as Luigi which is was awesome! My only gripe with this game was the boss fights. The mini bosses at the end of each world felt lacklustre to say the least. Not only was it incredibly easy to beat them, but they also lacked creativity. From what I remember, most of them were just enlarged versions of enemies you commonly encountered throughout your travels. Tbh I think I just used a mega mushroom on all of them including Bowser. That’s another thing, Bowser was incredibly easy to defeat. Overall, amazing game that I have so many memories with. And an amazing introduction to a pretty good series. I’m feeling a 4 out of 5 stars.

So far, beautiful game! Hats off to rockstar. Can’t say too much because I still have yet to complete it, but so far I am absolutely LOVING it. Such an amazing story, for a video game, it has terrific voice acting, I LOVE Arthur’s chemistry with Dutch and the group, lots of animals to hunt, the NPC interactions are so real and immersive, and much more to love. Also I have yet to dive into red dead online, hear it’s pretty good but I guess we’ll see. So far, I can comfortably say this game is a 5 out of 5 stars.

Phenomenal game. Loved every minute of it. Amazing story and great online gameplay. The story was so good that I played it from start to finish 3 times. Online gameplay is also amazing as it features different missions, heists, races, team death matches, and so much more that you can complete in it. I forgot to mention that in online, you can level up your character and buy various properties like business, houses, garages, hangars, or otherwise properties that can help assist you in completing heists, or really long missions. I have three complaints with this game. One, I wish NPC interactions were more immersive as they only seem to spout nonsense at you. However, the game was released in 2013 so I can forgive that. Second problem is I wish you could walk into more buildings. There are various different buildings throughout the map like the maze bank tower and the cluckin bell restaurant that I wish you could just walk inside outside of missions. Third and final problem I have with GTA V is the online community. It’s an okay community overall. But I just wish that there were less griefers that destroy your product when you participate in sell missions, and more people looking to help you out, or just overall be friendly to you. Besides those little hiccups, I’d say the pros massively out way the cons in this game. I’ve been playing it consistently since 2018 and there’s a reason for that. It’s got a phenomenal story, a very good online experience, and a plethora of different things to do from heists, to just messing around on the map whether it’s in online, or in story mode. I’d highly recommend this installment in the GTA series, I’d overall give this game a 4.8 out of 5 stars. Just make sure you don’t get 5 stars on you when playing this game:)

In my opinion, this game is just flat out awful. It’s just NSMBU but you play as Luigi, he actually has special abilities like fast run and high jump, you can play as nabbit, each of the levels is only 100 seconds long, and those stupid blue and yellow toads are back. That’s it, nothing else of substance. Such a shame considering Luigi is my favourite Mario brother and he had to star in this trash. NSMBU already had its fair share of problems, so for them to just rinse and repeat and add a few differences here and there is just lazy. The game it’s self plays so speed runner like it’s not even good for people who just wanna play it casually. The only good things I have to say about this game is you can play as nabbit, and I like that Luigi has his special abilities. Nothing else really good to say about this one. They really did my boy Luigi dirty considering 2013 was a year Nintendo dedicated to HIM. Overall, 1.5 out of 5 stars.

I wouldn’t say this is a bad game, but I wouldn’t say it’s a great one either. It’s just decent. To put it simply, it’s basically NSMB Wii but in HD. Same texture packs, same enemies, and same items, with only two new ones. The acorn suit, and the p wing acorn suit. They’re ok but not worthy enough to be the only two new stand alone items in the game. The only things that I can say differentiate this game from the Wii version are obviously the level layouts, backgrounds, soundtrack, and having a mildly different story. Same shit different barrel essentially. Princess gets kidnapped by bowser and you have to play captain save a hoe with the same blue and yellow toads again. I say it’s a little bit different because some different stuff happens well the princess is held captive, but I can’t remember to save the life of me. I can go on and on about all the same stuff from the Wii version, but if I did, I’d end up typing out a two page essay lol. I will say for the positives, the theme songs are very good just like the Wii version, the map designs and layouts are very creative all having food as a common theme. Soda jungle, layer cake desert, acorn plains, ect.. I also found the levels very fun, featuring that charm that I remember NSMB wii having. NSMBU had that charm that made me remember all those fun times I had playing NSMB Wii. Overall, decent entree to the NSMB franchise, all be it a carbon copy of NSMB Wii. I’d give this game a 3.3 out of 5 stars.

Really good Mario experience overall. Love how it brought the DS experience to home console with a multiplayer option. Story is as basic as Mario bros can get as the koopa kids kidnapp Peach and take her to bowser where she sits in a room like a helpless child waiting for Mario to come and give him a peck on the cheek. From what I remember(which is a pretty good memory as I have completed it from start to finish at least 5 times) this game was pretty fun both solo and with at least 1 other person. Up to four people can play this game however I wouldn’t recommend that because it just gets outright chaotic at that point. Apart from that, the only other thing I thought was lame about this game was how besides Mario and Luigi, a blue and yellow toad were the other two playable characters. This was such a missed opportunity in my opinion as Wario and Waluigi would’ve been much better picks as well as their own special abilities. For example, Mario being able to double jump, Luigi being able to jump higher and run faster, ect.. Obviously, you have your power ups such as a fire flower, and star with a few new ones added to the mix. The helicopter cap, ice flower, and penguin suit, I very much so appreciate their welcome as they added versatility to this games power ups. Freezing enemies, sliding on ice, and flying are now abilities that are possible thanks to the introduction of these items. Items like the mega mushroom and blue turtle shell are notably absent from the DS instalment, which I found disappointing. Enemies and maps are also your basic Mario ones as you have your grass world, sand, snow, lava, ect.. Aswell as your goombas, koopa troopas, piranha plants, and koopa kids as final bosses of each world you finish. Consider the koopa kids as mini bosses before your reach bowser which is the final boss. Overall, this is my favourite installment in the NSMB series. Highly recommend going back to this one for nostalgia reasons, or just to overall have a good time playing through it. I’d give this game a 4.3 out of 5 stars.
