After months of playing the fish game I think I'm finally satisfied enough to stop. Maybe I'll revisit it to max out friend Pokemon skills one day, but that won't be today. For now, I am a free toad

Man they made making a Magikarp retire early really difficult in the post-game. It doesn't count if you release it after doing a few trainings, it HAS to be via an event, and for some reason I've had perfect luck in regard to surviving the events that exist that can cause Magikarp death. The one time I wish I wasn't lucky, I guess.
