Finally got around to playing this and it was expectedly brilliant.
Crazy immersive in regards to both how large the map is and how controller elements are implemented to give things weight and bite.
Such a great re-interpretation of the symbiote story, as well. Had me so emotional at so many points. Harry, Peter, MJ, and Miles all feel so real and flawed and my heart broke and soared for them multiple times over the course of the game.
Played wearing the Raimi suit for Peter and the Across the Spider-Verse suit for Miles (Also such an insane attention to detail to make the frame rate match the hand-stitched feel of the frame rate in the Spider-Verse films). Because I can't not make something movie-related.

Very fun and cute especially when you're playing on stream because the twitch integration with this game is super fun and makes it really enjoyable for people to watch-- even if they don't really know anything about the game.
This was my first ever rougelike and I'm not sure if it's the game or the genre. I really didn't enjoy the combat as much as I liked the base building aspects of this game. I kind of thought the combat was slow and a bit clunky and uninteresting.
It's a fun little game but I can't see it being anyone's favorite idk

Persona 3 Reload

I had originally written a long "review" for this game before this; about how Reload had come out right as I was in the midst of a really rough depressive episode, and how playing it helped me crawl out of that hole. After thinking about it, though, it felt a bit too personal (and, frankly, a bit like-baity) to post for strangers on the internet to read such vulnerable and descriptive details about my personal life, so I'm writing this short little anecdote instead. Just know, this game came out at the perfect time for me when I needed it most, and I cannot be thankful enough for its existence. I've been feeling like shit for the past month or so due to an avalanche of life circumstances piling down on me all at once, and this game was a big help in working my way through it and coming out on the other side. Thank you, Atlus; this was one of the most fulfilling experiences I've ever had playing a game.
