the video game equivalent of smashing your genitals with a hammer

I got called like 5 different slurs in the first 10 minutes. Unironically recommend

After replaying the drama of Bloons on the both Nintendo DSi and Ninja Kiwi's official steam port, I can definitely say that this game, without a doubt, is one of the most perfect representations of a story through any medium. Nothing hits you harder more than playing as the lonesome warrior, Monkey, on your quest to pop all of the Bloons. The absolute amount of tension, guilt, and dramatic tension that comes from popping the Bloons is tremendous. Nothing ever will come close to struggling to survive after the slaughtering of your entire village. Monkey, mere days after seeing his family murdered, was so easily determined to avenge the death of his monkey village. The opening is so strong and truly sets the mood for the rest of the game. Simply you, alone with the Bloons, on your path for revenge. Go on Monkey! Fight on, for your life, and your honor, depends on it.

easily the 2nd best jrpg i've played (2nd to symphonia). game is honestly just as good as symphonia, with tons of improvements in various areas...
...but if i'm being dead honest it was just how annoying karol was that makes me like symphonia more

A weak overworld and the combat while great isn't quite as refined as Vesperia's version of the combat, but the story and characters are just phenomenal. The character development for the main character is what every story-based game should strive for, and there's just so many scenes in this game I think about on the weekly. Just a mindblowing experience.
