Persona 3 holds a special place in my heart being the first real jrpg i ever played and pretty much got me into gaming in the first place. As a big fan i gotta say this remake is truly great but really misses the mark sometimes. The atmosphere is almost nonexistent compared to the original similar to og p4 compared to golden, and this remake is wayyy easier than the original. I played this game on hard and i barely struggled so i kinda missed the challenge of it since i remembered persona 3 being really difficult back then. It really bugged me how some mechanics were entirely removed such as fatigue now you can just hit borderfloors in a day without characters getting tired. ost got a bit nerfed but its not that big of a deal. The Graphics are gorgeous and love how the enviroments look in tartarus.

If this is the best version of P3 is up for debate but it really does most things right so this is a great way of experiencing persona 3.

Dino crisis 2 is a sequel like how Aliens is a sequel to Alien, where there is way more action and less focus on atmosphere. Which is fine since the shift feels more natural for a franchise like this. The game feels more arcade-y, where enemies infinitively respawn and you are rewarded by points with combo, kills etc. Which is used in a shop to buy weapons and ammo. You would think this is rewarding but for some weapons you definitively need to grind for. And having enemies chase you relentlessly in every area gets kinda annoying when backtracking or puzzle solving. The game was a bit underwhelming there are pretty much 3 main areas and one of them were pretty underwhelming like the city which just took me around 7 minutes to get by, after beating the game i was left with wanting more here hoping for a dino crisis 4 one day.
