You're just straight up fucking lying if you played this and didn't cry by the end.

This game genuinely changed my life as a kid. I can't count the number of times I've replayed it.

The best Pokemon spin-off and just one of the best Pokemon games in general. The Mystery Dungeon formula perfected with really fun gameplay, a fantastic story, some really great visuals and sound design too, tons of Pokemon available and just a lot of content you can spend hours on.

Greatest of all time. Zenith of the medium. Hallmark of media. Gold standard of storytelling. Apogee of creativity. Vertex of invention. Crest of ingenuity. Acme of imagination. Pinnacle of innovation Epic of epics. Legend among legends. Peak fiction.

My entire childhood and the game that singlehandedly made me fall in love with gaming. Undisputed GOAT.
Still a 5/5 even without the kiddo bias

Where do you even begin? If the story writers working on SwSh had even half the talent on display here, perhaps I'd consider replaying them. This has it all; an undying feel of excitement and exploration, a story and soundtrack to rival the best of any franchise, gameplay that might not be for everyone but certainly does it for me, the feelsTM, and best of all... Spinda's Cafe.

HeartGold will always be my favourite, but this might be the Pokemon game I consider to be the best.
