A story and themes that resonate more and more with each day, wrapped in stealth gameplay that in 2001 must have been seen as the future of gaming, with a level of interactivity that on some ways is still not topped.

It's the only Final Fantasy I've bothered to finish which tells you a lot.

While not the revolution it has been exposed as (I feel in practice this game is not really that different from an Assassin's Creed or Far Cry), it is still a very polished open world that will entertain anyone for a couple dozen hours while you explore the sprawling Hyrule.
