Having recently started replaying Witcher 3, it's come to my attention that this game does not have autosaving after quest completion for most of its quests either. How such a simple mechanic is not implemented is unfathomable to me, if the problem was that players might not be happy with the outcome and would want to go back and choose a different option then just make the autosave a different save slot? At the very least you have the option to lower auto-save time down to 3 minutes so it saves a lot of headaches that way, but I still can't understand why the autosave works the way it does.

I think a lot of people get hung up on the difficulty, or losing their buffs when they die. But those buffs are easily regained and you are given so many options in combat that I never really felt overwhelmed by enemies. If the story is more interesting in the sequel, the areas are made more visually distinct and some gameplay stuff is fine-tuned we are looking at a peak metroidvania IMO.

Shitty level design is when you get unfathomably skill-checked, apparently.
