The boss fights in this game makes it one of the most infuriating Classic Sonic games, especially the two final bosses. Aside from the boss fights, the highlight of this game is the levels, which are amazing, and really fun to get through with all the characters. The inconsistencies of the OST, where it has some bangers and some stinkers, and the slog that are boss fights, makes it not as good as Mania unfortunately, even if some parts are better than Mania. I also specially love how they translated the game into 3D, all the sprites were amazingly animated to 3D and I really like this games graphics, even if I wish that they go back to sprite/hand-drawn. The plot is also not as good as like, say, Sonic 3 or Mania, but Fang coming back as well as the new character Trip, who is cute, kinda makes up for it. I just wish this game was a bit better, and I guess fans will make it better I guess? Sigh...
