after finishing this game, all i can say really is "how havent i played this game sooner?" its such a refreshing mix between action and turn based rpg elements, resulting in a type of 'mmo gameplay' that im very familiar with. i was also very in love with the characters (ALISTAIR ALISTAIR ALISTAIR!!!!!!) and just the general setting. only reason i cant give this game a 5 is because i have intense arachophobia and had to deal with a random encounter of spiders after leaving a dungeon that was also filled with spiders (i cried), so i had to get a mod to prevent that in the future. but overall, i had a blast playing through this game and am super excited to play future titles!
i dont think i will ever get past the first chapter of this game despite trying multiple times over the years since i was like 16 (im 21)

the story was great but fell super flat at the end with jill just not being there for no reason at all. gameplay was also super stale until shiva came along and made it really fun

this game has my favorite set of rivals to date, a fantastic ost, and amazing multiplayer (conceptually), but its dragged so far back by being ugly as all shit and running horribly. also the raids are so dysfunctional and impossible to enjoy. who the hell wants to sit there for like 2+ minutes completely unable to act
