wow, rough reviews for this short and sweet puzzle game! i don't think anything in it is like pixel hunting -- the game gives you a map of what you're finding if you need it, and finding things is rewarding. it's really a cute game and i'm glad i bought it.

mechanically all fine, but the sensation of literally never running out of things to actively do is not healthy feeling to me

wild, fun, so weird. my favorite character is rabies

really enjoyed this. i disagree with reviewers who say there's no strategy, but i do think this game has a low level of entry that conceals how hard it gets at its version of "ascensions" -- so that indicates a balance problem i think. i do really like that "monster train's" approach is more maximalist. you know you will upgrade everything, and dramatically; so how will you use that? where will your build get huge? it's a lot of fun, to me.

ETA: the developer is working on an upmake with real art that you can wishlist on steam now! i'm really glad.

6-10 hour family deduction and mystery. absolutely love this, especially as the work of one person almost totally alone. please don't pay for it, because the art is all AI generated -- that's a weird, bad choice the creator made and i don't understand why. the AI art is so bad that it does not ever add a sense of realism to anything, so it could really easily be simple line art or something similar. hell, he could have used visual novel sprites. if there's ever a release with real photographs or real art -- wait and pay for that.

planning and placement puzzle, probably 3-10 hours of good vibes depending on how you like it. charming -- i love the stripped down design, which is effective, and the mechanic is really neat. you can change the color scheme or use your own colors . . . try switching up the background to highlight the empty spaces in your city.

about 1 hour for an entire winning run. very replayable, and lots of interesting ways to lose.

this is a really fun game. it's a step outside of their box for charles games, which previously made "attentat 1942" and "svoboda 1945." this is still reality based, socially conscious, and edutaining, but it's more of a full fledged game with cards and mechanics and timers. very good stuff.

just want to say -- the super long, own-farts-huffing not-review on this page is inaccurate in a number of ways. there's not only one best way to win the game. plenty of libraries do lend video games. plenty of people find and play games based on what their social circles are doing on backloggd. if you don't like how your friends talk about or socialize around games, get new friends.

a logic puzzle mystery game. it has a lot of homemade charm. the investigating part is a little clumsy, but fun, and the characters are very silly in a fun way.

full length dice deckbuilder, like yahtzee on steroids.

all of your dice faces are swappable, and you can buy or find other sizes of dice. the strategy of it is surprisingly deep and a lot of fun.

full length deckbuilder where you build a bean army.

it slaps. please try it.

full length match 3 battler.

there's a lot to like here. i especially like the employee ID sticker boost system. the system of match 3 combat with skills you can swap and upgrade is neat.
