This was practically unplayable to me as a kid and I imagine it wouldn't be much different now. The only fun I ever had with it was making creatures

oh my god the depths were so cool to experience completely blind. Absolutely the best part of the game

The style, atmosphere, world and characters, and the mystery and open-endedness of it all is this game's main draw. Something that you play more for the experience than for the gameplay. I was obsessed with this game in 2020 oh my god

The first time I've played a pre-gen 4 Pokemon game and is therefore hard for me to get into. Catching Pokemon is always fun, but for most of this I've been wishing I were playing something else. It clearly did something right at the time though.
