how do you even rate something like this? guess i could list its "objective" "problems" and issues of pacing, kinda jank dlc and occasionally unfair platforming but who even cares. nothing does what hollow knight does as well as it does it. nothing feels like hollow knight. five stars, fuck it

tempted to give this higher because it is "functional". its programming works as intended. it is technically a "video game".

...but it's also one of the most soulless, evil products ever conceived. every concept is either actively terrible or a poorly copied shadow of better ideas from previous, better games with mechanics and execution that seem almost ai-generated in their baffling levels of laziness and incompetence.

sticker star is a glimpse into a world without art and without joy. avoid it like the plague.
