Normally visual novels and point and clicks aint rlly something i'd consider one of my favorite kinds of games. There can be really good stories told and there can be great interactive segments YEA but sometimes it doesn hit as well as it could depending on what you pick up, since the bulk is emphasis on the writing aspect of things and anything else is a vehicle or a baseplate to convey and elevate

Producer (2021) is DEFINITELY one of those that gives me pure joy in it's atmosphere which is smthin i feel rings loud when you know its all cohesively working in motion

its visual style is crunchy and dennnnse
the humor nearly always landed to me in it's own crude and silly wayyyy

It's not too terribly long, but I think its a good length for the scope of what it was going for
It even has a couple endings to it that i feel are emblematic of the themes recurring with it where the pursuit of committing to work and routine leaves a hollow sense of fulfillment
everything upheld and the eerily, frictionfilled chafing of the everyday because you shyed away from the possibility of the cyborg's freedom and wanting individuality in the brink of the end
while with the cyborg ending its totally terrifying in it's own sort of evangelion-kinda way of having everything go out standing instead of holding and remembering what couldve been
It's not really cynical but it's more of a proof to me how the means of production and carelessness of big business ruptures and uproots things even in enthusiasm being a fanning high that carries
not for payment or camaraderie but for somethin more grand

the feeling of being part of something to latch into a place of power using others as product and disposable assets

or to liquidate everything and stand in the brunt of total annihilation

But don't let that distract you from the fact that the Turbulator is chill as hell and gay
i probably couldve made the botanist worse...
and also the fact that you know thor was workin on this moment the high heels become a quintessential key item to the reshaping of the world
