Beyond the tech problems, this is one of the most fun times I've had with a Pokemon game. There's a large amount of new creatures, and it feels like a large step mechanically that dares to do something different. It's full of content and feels fun to explore and play. I genuinely really believe that this is excellent for the series in every way but technical. Fun-wise, a flat 5/5. But the tech issues are embarassing all the same. I do recommend giving it a proper try and seeing for yourself. There's also a shockingly good story in the endgame here.
They have not patched the technical issues. But I’m still nonstop shiny hunting and enjoying myself. There is a great game marred by crunch culture here.
