This is by far the best 2D Metroid. Not only is the game loop refined but the cinematics and story really surprised me. Samus exudes badass every moment shes on screen. The only thing letting it down are the bosses. There are a few where they are just repeated and feel lazy. There is also a section where it is almost 3 bosses within 30 mins which got super old.
