Very nostalgic game for me, as is many Wii U games. This is pretty often touted as the MOST CREATIVE AND OVERLOOKED 2D PLATFORMER OF ALL TIME and such, but personally I prefer Returns. Still an outstanding game, though!

No monkeying around, this is easily my favorite Donkey Kong game. I recently replayed Tropical Freeze which cemented that I just plain like this one more.

Like a bit more than the original, though I'm not as into it as the rest of the world seems to be. Just played to many other 2D platformers, I suppose? Either way, a seminal and simian game, glad I played.

Hot take, I actually like this game much more graphically compared to New Horizons. But on top of just looking better, it is such a fuller experience and if I were persistent enough, I could have seen this becoming an all-time favorite. As it is, though, just some fond memories.

I'm not big into Animal Crossing in the first place, just not my kind of game, but it just takes so many steps back from its predecessor that I couldn't get into it and don't see myself coming back.
