i cannot stress enough how beautifully made this game is, both difficult but enjoyable. each death makes you want to try again with a different strategy, when I became a celeste speed runner it opened the world of speed run mechanics completely changing how the game is played letting you re-experience celeste mountain in a new light
Despite what originally was a laggy mess, Pokémon scarlet ended up being a refreshing change of pace to the standard Pokémon formula giving free reign to the player after the first hour leaving you to explore the land of Paldea in which ever order you please. with frequent updates the framerate and other common game breaking bugs made the game pleasant to run. once the game started getting old they release the first of 2 parts of the DLC giving every player another 20 hours or so of content and another 200 Pokémon to catch on top of the 400 in the main game giving hundreds of hours of fun content. but wait, there's more! the second part gave access to a whole new area and even more Pokémon to catch the game just doesn't get boring, I'm currently on my 6th playthrough and I'm yet to get bored. so I bestow upon the perfect game Pokémon scarlet, 5 stars
i thought the game was rather repetitive at times, and i think it needs alot more polishing and updates before I re-evaluate my rating
