Third games or sequel games are separate entries. Red includes Red and Blue, Silver includes Silver and gold etc just for ease sake. No spinoffs cause wed be here all day.

Improvement in almost every area. Sure the distortion world ended up just being a slow cinematic experience but its nothing like Pokémon has ever done before or since.

how Gen 3 should have been handeld in the first place. Not enough really changes but gen 3 had a solid enough foundation.

Yeah the expansion pass to gen 8 was neat. I wish the Iron Islands was a bit more fleshed out but both parts gave a massively better wild area to mess around in in comparison to the base game.

qol is great. Wild area was a neat additon. Overall a bit easy but the game massively extended its shelf life for me with the raids. Wish they were faster though.

Fine. Its story is annoying but its gameplay and gyms are massive improvements over part 1.

i have a bit more love for this cause i speedran it for a while. Really well paced game and I love that its all new pokemon until you beat the elite 4, it gives Unova a vibe that is uniquely its own.

fine but aggressively slow. Elite 4 sucks but champion is one of the best in the whole series.

I honestly like this game I just really do not have the nostalgic attachment most people had to it. This is where I fell off pokemon as a kid until gen 4 sucked me back in fairly late on into the generation.

Massive improvement to gen 1. I basically forget about the originals now.

Gen 6 is just aggressively easy. I've come around on it a bit recently after playing it more, especially on the Gen 3 remakes. They are fine. Unoffensive. Qol over gen 3 helps.

the gen 9 DLC was neat but was short and does little to improve what was already there.

Nintendo had all the potential in the world here and just soiled it with this unfinished pile. the qol and overworld are neat, too bad the game runs like shit.

bland remake doesn't even begin to describe this. It literally just does everything Gen 4 did with a new coat of paint. I really wished for improvements but I shouldn't be super surprised that we didn't get them.

Games fine. Tutorial is so long it puts me to goddamn sleep.

Ultra Necrozma is miserable in a game thats paced pretty well otherwise. Doesn't feel different enough from the first set of gen 7 games. I'll never play this unrandomized again cause of that boss fight.

I loved this when it came out but time hasnt been to fond of the gen 4 remakes. Level curve is still super botched throughout which makes getting through it a total slog.

zero qol now with a super botched level curve. Amazed still they were able to fit as much as they did into this game. At least its not as buggy as gen 1 is.

see below. Above the previous cause you can use all of the starters without trading. However cause of this, games massively easier and your team is built for you.

Gen 1 is just broken and buggy. Peeling back the layers and going back to an era of 0 qol is really hard to stomach.
