When I was a kid this game made me cry because I thought I wasn't good enough to play it. Turns out it was just dogshit.

this game isn't very good the first time, but then, slowly, as you play it three more times... it gets even worse

This game is so incredibly broken and unfair and slippery and frustrating, but by the end I was ... having a good time ?? It was ... fun for me ?? Why ????? My first 5-8 hours with this game felt like a Sisyphean task... but perhaps stockholm syndrome showed its horrible face and cradled me in its loving arms...
TL;DR: Sonic Heroes for life. 5/10

Sonic Heroes is just a straight up downgrade from SA1 and SA2.
While the concept is neat and leveling theming is topic notch, the overall lack of interesting gameplay, the fact that you must play all stories to get the final boss and bare bones story makes it one of the boring games in the franchise.
