if your game even has an option to turn off the protagonist's dialogue, consider if you wrote any good dialogue.

all i remember about the quips (which i turned off very quickly) is the alarming number of references to the offspring. very impressive game in terms of what they did with the engine, but man you shouldn't be allowed to make a build game this charmless. we should have systems in place to stop this from happening

@curse: Hedon absolutely blows Ion fury the fuck out. It has way more charm and imagination than Ion Fury could hope for.

I wasn't in love with hedon (though I've been meaning to give it another go) but it's got about a zillion times more personality that's for sure. ion maiden feels like a really self-involved guitar solo a lot of the time where the effort was put into the wrong things for the wrong reasons. how they managed to get such a dull performance outta jon st john idk dude
