These are the rankings of metroid games I had played. Haven't played 3d ones yet.

Still the best one for me.
Exploration is the best with every corner is full of items.
Floaty physics feels cumbersome at first but when you used to it, you can break the game with it
Only problem is items that required to progress are hard to find for some reason and trying to find them kinda kills the pacing at points

Best setpiece moments metroid for me.
There is so many different level concepts that it's simply amazing to experience those moments.
Unfortunately the original game's faults are also here, for example game is pretty liner and seperated into zones, also it's enemy roster repeats itself too much.
But still I can't say this enough, it's own exclusive level concepts simply that much amazing

I have a love and hate relationship with this game.
SA-X stalker isn't pushed to her limits.
Exploration sucks ass. Because they always force you to follow map marks to progress. Rather than giving you freedom.
But atmosphere wise it's feels really spooky in the kind I like and bosses are amazing.

Yeah simply this is the first metroid game remake.
It's pretty short and it doesn't have the freedom feeling of super metroid for me with forcing you to follow chozo statues in the map to progress. At least there are some alternate routes tho compared to the metroid fusion.
But atmosphere of it feels weaker then any other game, enemies feels uninspired and so on.
Tbh I need to force myself to remember this game to write this because it's that forgettable for me even if it does have all the new cool abilities fusion has.
