Really good but not the best

Kinda funky but I love the way the cutscenes are animated in this and in the Revelator games. This was also my first mainline GG, so I have a soft spot for it.

"Guilty Gear Side-scrolling Beat 'Em Up" is such a great idea but the execution isn't the greatest. It isn't awful, but man it could've used a lil' more fine-tuning.

Really jank but REALLY fun. The constant tension of wondering when the CPU will try to IK you so you can counter it is maddening (in a fun way). Also being able to IK Justice is great.

Complete pile of garbage also the English voice acting is insufferable for certain characters. Also the gameplay is some kind of fucked up psuedo-musou/tower defense nonsense. I hate it so much.

Pretty whack...

The first Guilty Gear game I ever played! I have a soft spot in my heart for this one; it's just a Smash Bros. style fighter with a bunch of cute minigames and a customizable Robo-Ky.
