The part where u get to play as reptar at the end goes hard idc

Honestly, sometimes this game is quite funny.
But it still sucks.

Will never understand why this is as acclaimed as it is, because I've never seen a more unredeeming piece of garbage. The promise of "it gets SO GOOD" is one that goes unfulfilled. There's maybe 3 hours of interesting content in this 50 hour waste of life. This is time I will never get back. I should've just read GANTZ or Berserk again. The absolute most dryly written VN I've ever stumbled onto. Huge exposition dumps & redundancy. The protagonist's rambling drivel made me want to end it all. Any time lore is brought up it fizzles out so you can read forty paragraphs of the protagonist making something up the spot. "To be honest, the reason I felt the way I felt is that I learned to feel differently because I watched you look around and accomplish a goal one time, like that time you made a sandwich. And honestly I may be in the wrong here but I'm just thinking you thought a certain way I didn't agree with." It's just endless mindless ranting. I just kept hoping something interesting would happen. It really never did. The only reason I am ok with giving this half a star is because Meiya is a cool character, and also it inspired Attack on Titan, which does every single theme this tries to do infinitely better. I loathed this VN from start to finish. Wild that I enjoyed the first part more because, at least it was sometimes funny lmao.

Beginning pacing is horrible. 30 hours of little going on. Rex is one of my all time most hated protagonists. The cringe in this game is strong, but the second half comes back for redemption, and gameplay is great.

Will never understand the hate for gen 7 games. Great character writing, a bit of a switch up with the totem battles & no gyms. EPIC final bosses. The supposed difficulty people crave is present, with totem fights being set up well to counter type advantages. Pokemon as a franchise will never please the masses again, and gen 7 is the proof.

It's definitely missing some sauce. I think the game accomplishes what it's trying to do--it's a cute point & click mystery game for kids. Sometimes the plot is a bit more interesting (mostly later chapters). It's nothing incredible or genre defining, but to me it felt like it accomplished its goal, even if it is a bit lacking.

The lore is nonsensical, and the nemesis system is such an interesting failure of an idea. It was not even remotely fun fighting enemies, where you have the power of the witch kings, but it takes 2850 hits to kill 1 orc who will run away with 20% health and then double the amount of hits it can take the next time you encounter it. I don't see the appeal.

Great gameplay & really good multiplayer. The story mode tho. RIP.

It's got its moments, but trying to force open world aspects onto this series didn't pan out very well for me & my friend who co-op'd this game. We were just like..... cool.... we have to surf this empty expanse for another 10 minutes.

Just an absolute masterpiece. Discovering this set me upon a vast journey of laughs & tears. It's quickly become, possibly my favorite franchise in video games.

Incredible piece of art. The music, art, characters are all beautiful. This game takes you down a winding path and narrative that spans time & space. It is incredibly brilliant, and one of the best pieces of narrative in any game I've ever played.
