Killer Apps: The games that sold me on hardware
I buy a lot of game hardware ngl for usually very frivolous reasons but there's always at least SOMETHING that's only to be found on a specific platform that makes me go "welp, time to make a poor financial decision". These are those games, with their respective hardware that they sold me on. Not even a list of games that are my favorites for each system as usually I would broaden my gaming on each system, these are just the gateway drugs.

Philips CD-i
3DO (i played this at a friend who owned a 3DOs house and life was never the same since, i knew what i had to do right then and there)
Sega Saturn (sonic world is one hell of a drug)
Nintendo 64 (i spent like half of my entire childhood trying to track down and buy an N64 with this game)
Neo Geo Pocket Color
Xbox (alongside other sega exclusives like JSRF and panzer dragoon orta obvs but this was the game i bought WITH the system way back when)
N-gage
Wii (when i saw this in game magazines for the first time after playing so much melee it was so joever)
Xbox Series X
Nintendo DSi
Xbox 360 (and by extension the kinect)
Playstation 4 (and look how good this game actually turned out...)
Ouya
Playstation Vita (this was before this game got ported to PC, though I did eventually come to learn how cool the vita actually was so HAH)
Playstation VR (i have no excuse)
Playstation VR2 (and by extension, the PS5 pretty much)
