why is this game so good. why did i spend 40 hours playing this game over a week. help

the most unique mystery mechanics I've seen in a while, vibes art and music were impeccable. I spent multiple days running around confused bc I'm very bad at noticing things. 10/10 would do it again

I have lost way too many hours in this game and probably still will. Really difficult at first, and sometimes frustrating when you lose a long run, but I always feel compelled to come back and try again. The ascensions are really well designed to keep things interesting and challenging, and the characters have such varied and complex playstyles that it feels like an entirely new experience depending on who you play. This game has gotten me through many hours of quarantine.

A bit of information overload at first but really interesting mechanics, I love the characters and the way it utilizes the Negotiations in the story is really interesting. I've only finished a few runs but will probably take a while before I tire of it. Obviously not a perfect Slay the Spire analogue but I think that the additional story and mechanics makes up for that, personally I like seeing how they made use of those mechanics and experimented with them using the story and the Negotiations.
