story wasn't too bad. i really liked the animations, and the ending was sad and amusing when you can hear trip screaming and kind of see them right before they meet pigsy. the gameplay was not for me. i hated it, why would i ever want to play as pigsy. trophies were whack too. im still glad to finish it. rip truffles

I've heard a lot of hate for this lately but I have nothing but love for it. I remember that summer of 2018, right after freshman year. I had just gotten my PS4 that Christmas. I played a lot of Fortnite with friends and wanted something single-player. I was sitting on my huge bean bag my parents just got me, and put the disc in. It was like love at first sight. I had not gamed that much before, it was very casual, so a lot of this was new to me. I had never seen graphics like this before, a beautiful, lore-rich world to explore. It was truly an amazing time. I loved exploring, I loved fighting the mechs and I loved learning more about the world. Sure there are flaws, but I was having so much fun, it did not matter. I loved Aloy and her story. I got goosebumps with every crazy revelation in the story. So, I got on that bean bag every single day, from early morning to late night. The last time I could still do that and I enjoyed every minute. It was the first game I platinumed and man it was such a fun one. I just wanted to experience everything this world had to offer. There is so much more to say but I'll end with this: I'm sad so many people could not have the same amazing experience as me but I am so glad for myself as this game has helped me love and appreciate my PlayStations and video games as a whole so much since. There were so many emotions I experienced just playing a video game and I have been chasing that ever since. Horizon changed my life.

helluva good time. haven't wanted to play with friends like this in a while. platinumed it! can't wait to play more.

feel like this could have been so great. i very much enjoyed the story and what it was trying to portray. the actors (andy serkis) were good but the chemistry between monkey and trip could have been so much better. there was a lot of development missing, i feel like the graphics and environment (which do not hold up that well) were huge for its time and i can appreciate the scope in which ninja theory was trying to achieve. i am also a sucker for post-apocalyptic cities. yeah a good time but could've been so much better.

cute game and really great on the ps portal and it was the first game i played on it.
