Despite my love and adoration for Kazuma, I liked Chronicles better. You can see who the mastermind is as soon as he appears. Cases are too long, like in the original saga. In the first game was more entertaining because it was the first time I played with such dynamics, but this one is so boring, what a pain in the ass. Every time the popular jury jumped to their guilty conclusions I wanted to rip their heads off one by one. Very well spun in the end, I guess. I'm getting tired of the gameplay of this saga, it's too rigid, elongated and strict, sometimes it's unnecessary to present irrelevant evidence before the one that is clearly going to advance the plot. It's more fluid than the other AA games, though. If you like the original saga, go ahead and play it.

Crafted yaoi, yuri and yaoi yuri, my job here is done.

Also, an okayish time killer, it's entertaining at least. Most of the combinations are pretty much non-sensical tho.

It's cute but very, VERY simple. Firstly, they don't let you choose ANY option ??? It's click and read. The "routes" are very short and doesn't feel like a true romance story at all, it's a slice of lifeish, 0 development and 0 interesting plot. Considering the girls game has been properly made it's disappointing to find out this one it isn't. I only give it one star because the designs are cute at least. It has potential but it's completely wasted.

Don't get me wrong, I love this game and it's characters, the story it's absolutely interesting and has me hooked, but…
Negative aspects
The Gameplay is bad. It's a gacha and farming resources' problem, of course. Leveling cards up it's an absolute pain, and they don't really are exactly generous with this either. Then, in chapters like Ignihyde, they force you to have strong cards of very specific characters despite the difficulty of the battles. The farming in general it's boring and tedious despite being lessons on loop; events aren't free of this either. And, well, the gacha system used to be worse, at least they guarantee you the card now.
Positive aspects
Gameplay aside, everything else in the game is very polished. You can see Disney's high level of expertise and the care they have put into the characters, the art, the music and all the audiovisual aspects. While it is true that there are chapters that have been left behind because they were the earliest, there are events that make up for the lack of character content and show their development or interactions.
