i havent played a cod game in actual years so this has been fun to me as a multiplayer thing exclusively. zombies is actually horrible, no idea what they were going for with that, and the campaign is... boring.... like i said, no context as to the discourse of this being a 70 dollar dlc because i did not play mw2. for me, pretty fun multiplayer junk food shooter. basically exactly what i was expecting.

the writing is sometimes really bad but usually just bland. the gameplay, though, is great! it fixes a lot of the issues i had with the first game, gameplay wise.

the gameplay in this one is just... bizarre? It's either absurdly easy, or really, REALLY annoying, and rarely anywhere in between. it is a shame, because this has some of my favorite atmosphere in the series! Springtrap is a really cool character design, and there is this really neat subtle sinister aspect to him as an antagonist in this game.

also, the minigames here are actually kind of cool. i like the way they are hidden as opposed to the death minigames in the last game, as at least it's something you earn rather than just miss with RNG. there is something genuinely sad and haunting about the minigames in this game that I wasn't really expecting, and I actually really loved. something about that low quality royalty free music is really heartbreaking.

but yeah, the main gameplay is Not Good. It is not as interesting as the first, or as exciting and polished as the second... it is just weird. this is the first one that is actually worth 100%-ing, and I did!

this one is not as interesting as the first game to me, but there is something really exhilarating about the resource management gameplay. not a refinement of the first game as much of a hard mode expansion. I really dislike how easy it is to miss the death minigames (i didnt encounter a single one on my entire playthrough!) and i just dont think this is a great "horror" game.

actually a really cool and effective short horror game. really good atmosphere and a really unique gameplay system!

really incredible platformer with an insane amount of personality. between this and hi-fi rush, 2023 is starting out with a bang

if it had the rb3 engine and the full discography this would be one of the greatest games ever made

this is superior to vr chat in every conceivable way, partially due to it being a much smaller community but also just having better features. if you play this game there is a decent chance you will eventually run into me on there, or you already have

mechanically, this is a step up from boneworks in every conceivable way, but the campaign is so clearly an afterthought that it is almost insulting.

2018

rust is the quintessential survival pvp game. the way that it creates such high stakes and generates stories naturally with other players is fascinating to me, and I play it for similar reasons others play Dwarf Fortress.

2021

this is the most accurate depiction of dreaming i've seen in any piece of media

the moment they reprise "The Legendary Theme" is the moment i remember this game rules

this game is mostly an aggressively ok mystery adventure/vn game until one part near the end that genuinely made me very scared and very sad. if only the whole game was like that

this game is genuinely awesome
