Eventually slapped it on easy and smashed through it. I should’ve played it on easy from the start, I had so much more fun with it just absolutely destroying everyone, plus the last few hours had a lot less dialogue and some very cool environments/moments. Great start, massive dip in the middle that lasts too long, great end. I stopped playing during the dip on PlayStation, I don’t think I would’ve got through it this time if I wasnt playing it on the deck - too much of slog to even consider taking over the living room tv for.

Had a few ups and downs with this one. It starts strong with some great humour and a beautiful world they've built but initial combat felt weak. Combat picked up and got more interesting as you unlock new guns but the dialogue got less funny and that side of it started to bore me. The last 2 missions were awesome though, the combat and movement felt great, the dialogue is funny and they're back to doing interesting things breaking the 4th wall etc. I'm glad I played it, so many really funny, surprising and great moments but I doubt it'll be in my top 10 for the year.
