Buckshot Roulette really respects your time - once you load into it and kick down two doors, you're already introduced to the unnamed dealer, who's gonna be your enemy in a game of life and death. The core mechanics are simple, you just have to shoot the dealer with live rounds or shoot yourself with blanks in order to get extra turns, so you can deplete the opposing health bar and win a round. After the first round, random items are introduced, which can give you advantages, like being able to see the current bullet or deal double damage for a turn, but the dealer is also able to use his items against you! After you beat the third and final round, you're already done with Buckshot Roulette, no strings attached.

I really appreciate how simple this game is kept and that there is no "hidden lore" or anything at all, it's just a cool concept packaged into a 3€ game and is all about the gameplay. You also unlock an endless mode after beating a normal run, where you can just play more for the sake of it, or try your luck for a bunch of achievements - in my opinion it's a good inclusion, so you get some more bang for your buck(shot).

In conclusion, if you're interested in this game, go for it! It might not be long, but the experience is definitely an unique one.

I played this for a project I'm working on with some friends and wooooow this is noooot for me lmao.

Analog Horror type beats have never particularly been my thing but I can vibe with a kinda "x but it's off and kinda creepy" type experience especially if it eases you into that experience after instilling a false sense of security with you.

The problem here is that it kinda just goes down the list of the most obvious creepypasta tropes that you could possibly go for from the word go, like you would think that maybe it would hold off on some of its more creepypasta ass shit for at least a little bit but nah, I feel like it's designed that way to keep a youtube/twitch audience engaged (and I mean it has a streamer mode so I definitely think that's what's up).

It especially feels bizarre when the 3rd act of the game actually feels like it does something far creepier and far more interesting with its concept and the kinda connection and trust we allow programs to have on our computers without fully really thinking much about it sometimes.

It just all feels squandered in the way its all wrapped up and presented. Like if this leaned far more into stuff like the complete access/building you something from that, I really think this could've been something way more interesting than it was but I feel the ARG/Youtuber/Streamer/Game Theorist bait it lays out constantly just had me rolling my eyes the entire time.

Defo for a certain audience and hey more power to them but like I need a little more from something like this. I will say, the visual design and audio design though is perfectly done and I do really think that this person has a lot of potential to make something really special.

Also Kinito asked me what my favorite game was, I said Koudelka and he pulled up Control so frankly he's a fraud.

this game would've been fire had it came out in like 2016.

My expectations were just about a solid Ace Attorney-clone and that's what I got. I was surprised by the setting and the characters however.
Music was also excellent and especially the later cases had some unique twists to them that made the experience pretty entertaining.
I enjoyed myself quite a bit and scratching that "Ace Attorney" itch is always a satisfying experience.

The ending makes me think that future installments could be very much in the works and a lot more grandiose than the first game so I'll be on the look-out for any new releases in the future.

one of the best rhythm games out there

Kind of took a while to get going, but it grew on me over time and it was a nice passing of the torch story. Can't wait to see how the cast grows, develops, and comes into its own in the following Apollo Justice games!

undertale go home you're high man

Absolutely loved this for the most part. Just like most people, I liked everything except the battle system. Almost every time I had to fight I sighed a soft bitter sigh. That's what makes this game so frustrating: you can see so clearly what they could've done to make this game perfect but they just refuse to. You want to fall in love with the game but the main mechanic of the game just doesn't feel right. and therefore you keep being friends...

which is also fine 4 STARS FOR THIS LOVELY EXPERIENCE ALSO I CRIED AT THE END
