One dollar therapy that helped me cope and dab the problems away

The soundtrack and level design is top-tier. Adding the drop dash into this game is an actual game-changer and I can't play any other 2D classic Sonic level without it anymore

Giving this a five star rating simply because this game gave me an opportunity to connect with my friends online and experience tabletop games again during the pandemic lockdowns.

Also, I get to flip the table without any consequences so that's an added bonus

It didn't age as well as I thought it would playing it back now due to the controls, but the enjoyment was very much just the same as when I picked it up for the first time. I wish there were more games replicating or at the very least reminiscent of the type of style and gameplay JSR strives for. The soundtrack is amazing, the world-building is beautiful and just running around spraying shit feels so euphoric and fun for no rhyme or reason

Tonally the scariest out of all the games due to its simplicity in mechanics. There's not much you have to do in order to survive besides watching cameras and shutting doors, which leaves you to spend your time just sitting in your little cubicle room, anxiously waiting for something to happen. That type of anticipation made me feel worse, rather than all the new mechanics I have to stress over from the other games in the series

One of the only things in my life that made me use my basic engineering knowledge from school

The gameplay is very reminiscent of taiko, but gives off a VERY different vibe and aesthetic you don't see (or to be honest, you've never really seen) in the genre. Story-wise, the dialogue and execution felt a bit stilted and awkward, but behind that was a clear love for euro post-punk and an attempt to give you the experience of sentimental childhood towns- to which, I think it did quite well

I need the arcade soundtrack on the PC version please and thank you

Plays moreso as a social sim than anything else- so if you're looking to try this out expecting it to be very farm heavy, you'll be sorely disappointed. However, the social aspect of this game is quite nice and fun to play. The dev clearly spent much of their time developing the rather large cast of characters and it did not go to waste. Getting to know the characters and just relaxingly doing what you can to maintain your lifestyle (farming, fishing, cleaning, by all means you have a lot to choose from) is probably what this game aimed to be played like and I think it did that well

This game definitely has A LOT of personality and little quirks. Not much substance though, and as a rhythm game it gets a bit uninteresting mapping-wise especially with its song selection. I just play this game as a fun night-opener for unsuspecting friends

I hate the jumping spiders with a BURNING passion

I can't exactly recommend this game due to its very loose (and I mean, VERY loose- you can literally mash the buttons at any given moment and it would still register with no penalization) timing window. Plus, song selection is very limited save for some workshop maps

Platformer is a very loose genre to characterize this game in... feels more like an uninteresting walking simulator

2017

I tried to like this game more, but I really couldn't bring myself to because of how disconnected I felt with the characters. Understandably, they're teens growing into their awkward phases of puberty and learning how to process their emotions, but even with that in mind I never particularly cared for any of the characters and their situations due to how the dialogue and story were paced and constructed
