The hype around this game back in 2020 was something insane. THIS IS A MUST PLAY!

2016

DOOM 2016 was the biggest hit 7 years ago, yet I finished it yesterday and it was one of the coolest things ever.

The story is short, the doom slayer wakes up in mars and he's being called by Samuel Hayden a human that rebuilt into a robot tells you about the hell portal that will be opened by olivia, you play 13 levels trying to stop and kill olivia to stop this atrocity, you need to get the crucible from hell so you can stop the portal and kill olivia with it. In the end olivia transforms into mastermind and once you kill her you wake up with samuel in a cell that takes your blade and puts you to sleep.

The storyline is about 7-8 hours long, very few bosses only at the end of the game but it's alright, the twist by the end is pretty predictable imo.

The multiplayer is dead, in 2017 when quake champions released and it took the playerbase of doom but now even that game is dead so yep.

Since it's almost the holidays this game gotta be top 5 of this year imo, it's been sometime since I finished eternal but I think I might replay it one day and compare it to this one.

Overall this game is great, you can find it pretty cheap on steam sales since it's very frequent going on sales so yeah it's a worth pick up.

Great sequel, also if you are a damn satanic you will love the icon of sin.

1993

Yes you can play it on DOSBOX, but get gzdoom for god sake.
Avenge daisy damn it.

If you didn't played the first and the second one well don't bother too much.
The third game is not C A N O N.

First of all listen to skrillex and get a bag of doritos.
Second of all, choose the right ending.

My man shot ghost and wants to escape... I doubt that.

The ending keeps you playing the sequels.

The amount of content and replayability this game offers is truly incredibile.

Wish this game would get a new update to continue the clone wars saga, but it's all good even without it.

A great sequel to a fantastic game and a PERFECT movie franchise!

LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game is the first ever game that I played and 100% in no time, it's really the most memorable thing when I think about childhood and how this changed my movies taste overall.

Gameplay
The first ever lego game made by Traveller's Tales, a fine third person game in the universe of Star Wars, you can play with almost all the characters in the prequel trilogy of SW.
Playing 3 episodes and a bonus one to tease the original trilogy with the opening of a new hope, being a lego game it has it's own goofy parts and it's not copying fully the movies back to back because if you ever watched the prequels you know some scenes are not meant for children.
The level design is pretty great, if you compare it to the movies you will see what I'm talking about, in this game while playing a level you can collect studs which are coins that can purchase characters and other stuff at Dexter's place, minikits are the special objects that help you fully complete a level and they are hidden in special areas and get lego pieces to build a ship.

Soundtrack
John Williams is my favorite music composer, alongside SW he also participated in other movies like Minority Report, another personal banger, and so David's dedication was big to create a memorable soundtrack. Even till this day I find myself listening to SW tracks.

Story
Lego Star Wars takes you into the prequel trilogy of SW, 3 different movies from Phantom Menace to Revenge of The Sith.
An amazing ride to take, full of action and podracing (had to bring this one) and again some scenes are censored or even changed a bit from the original movies but I strongly suggest to watch the prequels and then start with the game, growing up I loved SW only because of this game and even today I find myself replaying this game because it's a short journey but full of nostalgia.

Conclusion
Lego Star Wars is a personal banger and an early passage to gaming, but if you want to experience the original trilogy you can either play the second game or the completed saga on steam, the computer port of the game is very broken, found the cause of modern software and so the disk might work on a original windows xp but having a controller helps you find a PS2 emulator that works fine, that's where I'm going to replay the game nowdays, for someone who didn't grow up with the movies or some aspects of the franchise I totally understand why they might not like this game but this is my subjective review so yeah.

"What about all the good things war has done for us? Why don't we ever hear speeches about that? Jobs, technology, a common purpose... All we're sayin' is... GIVE WAR A CHANCE!"

A great hack and slash overall.
