just amazing. the only other persona game i've played is p5r and i can confidently say i like this far more (tried p4g but didn't get far - only got to yosuke awakening [?] and one of the girls going missing. waiting for that remake).

i could connect and sympathise with the main cast and even some of the s.links in their hardships, and the character development of sees completely washes the phantom thieves. exploring tartarus isn't as drab as mementos and shuffle time forces players to be intentional with their choices...this game is stellar.

i said i might not ng+ this because i generally don't have the time or energy to replay games (i spent 92h on this btw) but i really enjoyed it and i'd like to go for a plat trophy run. if i do i'll try to time it with episode aigis in september? which isn't very far but we'll see. otherwise i'm very excited to see what atlus does with p6 and i might try to finish p4g after my current backlog, AND THEN maybe try p3p for kotone

- i worked for rikku and yuna's celestial weapons (also tried for tidus and got 0:0.1 for the race like dpmo please) but i was just over it
- overall ok like voice acting was janky but it was 2001 so what could they really have done. my only other gripe is the long dialogue that couldn't be skipped
- but this is my second favourite ff mainline believe it or not i think it's just because it was newer in relation to titles i played that released before (just vii)
- but i'll be playing x-2, viii and xii in that order while juggling p3r and rebirth. curious to see if this will move down my ranking

- it was ok? i couldn’t really get into combat and swinging and also knew the story beats because it had been out for 6 years by the time i started 😭

- i do love yuri’s voice acting and ben’s face though so idk i might play sm2 IF heavily discounted but i also hear it didn’t measure up

started around release date and finished 231003 on ps4 then ps5. yes it took me like four years on paper but i just kept starting and stopping 😭

i wasn’t paying much attention to it until my final run that i began about two weeks ago? in which i realised the dialogue revolves around the power of friendship and mcu lines which is too corny for me + i just don’t think this game is as good as kh2 which is imo the series best. also where are the final fantasy characters. idk if i’ll keep up with the series moving forward after seeing the trailer for kh4 too 😕 if that’s the case then we had a good run
