my god i love this maybe a bit too much, the fixating on the injustice in the court system to taking justice with your own hands, this game really has one the best MORALLY GREY casts of all time.
kuwana is just too good, what a villian. just CINEMA. hes so ominous, the mental torture and the cruelty he projects on his former students and victims in the name of justice, just amazing.
i know people found annoying, but i think yagami bringing up sawa sensei everytime is great. and he makes a pretty good point, can you call what happened to her justice? emphasizing how she deserves justice as well and how kuwanas actions directly led to her death.
ehara and soma were also great characters, and the kaito files were also great.
the combat wow, RGG perfected it, this the peak of combat in the entire franchise, the details the new movesets, the new fighting styles, all the new great Ex-action. honestly top 5 combat of all time.

this game was great, though turn-based in yakuza isn't my cup of tea but somehow they made it bareable.

i don't think the story missed a beat, maybe a few or too but they won't ruin the experience at all, what a way to conclude the toji and the omi and bury the hatchet.

the game really shows us a different side to kamurocho thats so dark and ominous, and the MC being a detective was so brilliant, though some pacing issues and the story being interrupted by some unnecessary sub-stories, the story and the plot were stellar from start to finish. both the start and finish being one of RGGs best, this game is where dragon engine REALLY picks up, you can tell that they are finally figuring out the formula with the new engine.
incredible game, what a conclusion to the kiryu saga, exploring the different bonds between parents and child, blood related or not and executed so well.

AMAZING AMAZING AND AMAZING. this game is INCREDIBLE and was the best one since 0, probably the best game thematically.
this game really solidified kiryu as my favorite characters in the franchise, and it introduced us to WAY too many great characters, including, watase, baba, katsuya, park, aizawa, kurosawa and SHINADA.
haruka needed this game, it does so much for her and her character.

i love this game despite what everyone says about it, it introduced us to characters like akiyama and saejima who are oneof the pillars and best characters in the franchise. the rubber bullet plot is so stupid it becomes so funny that i can't even be mad at it.

i think this was a good game tbh, mine is an amazing villian and it introduced a really interesting mirror between him and kiryu.

as much as all over the place this game was i find it pretty good.
Ryuji was an amazing antagonist and has a great dynamic with Kiryu.
Sayama had some great moments which is pretty rare for a female character in this franchise.

I didn't like this as much as 0, but i can definitely say Kiwami is a good game.
the cast is pretty much carried by nishiki, kiryu, majima, haruka and kazama.
Nishikiyamas is arguably the best villian in this franchise, the way they captured his downfall was greatly executed and i wish they did that for a future villian in this series.

One of the best games i ever played, words can't even describe how much i adore the amazing character writing and story of this masterpiece.
and thats not even getting into the gameplay, which is by itself is amazing wether its combat or mini-games.
yakuza 0 is one of the greatest games of all time and has one of the best casts of all time, the story is consistent and keeps you on the edge of your seat from how intense it is.
