visuals are very charming and cute-looking, and it is very exciting to play to this day.. until puyos falling speed becomes uncontrollable and you find yourself unable to rotate puyos once they're in-between the columns. it is rather sad you cannot toggle it. maybe on keyboard it would be easier to control, but on gamepad i've had a hard time with this annoyance.
as for the music, satan's banger of a theme really helped me to keep my sanity while trying to beat his stage.
of course there's some major issues that have been fixed in later games, but this one started the formula and established it instantly and greatly, so i think it totally deserved a 3.5 :D

it is a 2x2 room scale game about exploring an ancient temple and it has the most exciting and creative gameplay over the many other VR games i've tried. it's just so immersive and cool. you have to move your own body to walk, you have to crouch to dodge. sounds simple, but the room scale works so well, level design is just this great that it felt magical just to walk backwards on the spinning barrel. limitations spark creativity indeed.

when we took a break and started playing post-rock with the guys and i could actually press buttons to make wayne play the guitar i completely fell in love with this game

Art is nice and it would be cool to see author's universe expanded but too few differences in dialogue between both replays, u just keep clicking ur mouse until you come across differences.

it was a good walk with beautiful visuals but dialogues quickly became boring, they barely interacted with anything and whole game ended up feeling like a slog. amazing pixel art though..
