- Absurdist/surrealist 3D adventure games.
- Mostly real-time 3D, but some games that use pre-rendered graphics due to technical limitations may be allowed.
- Puzzles are not the main point, exploration is. Due to this, some platforming is ok.
- May have horror elements, but not be a horror game.
- Minimal NPC interaction
- Unconventionally conveyed story, if any
- Aesthetically offbeat, "weirdcore"

Honourable mentions (don't quite fit criteria but still recommended for those who enjoy this kind of game): Hypnagogia: Boundless Dreams, Broken Reality, B3313, Aquanaut's Holiday, Kaze no Notam, Osamu Sato's other games
