Incredibly good game, from the countless biblical and demonology references, to what was showed of what humans would do under dire circumstances and the different decisions they would make depending on their background and upbringing, and a few other things as well. Really liked the different endings that were available in the game and gave different perspectives on choices. Though as any Atlus game, it definitely didn't come without its frustrations and struggles, though overall, the gameplay was fine

First srpg I’ve played in nearly a decade (unless I’m forgetting one in that time), was interesting. Starting with gameplay, I do like sprg ig and am defo willing to try more, I just think in P5T it’s kinda up and down. Some levels I enjoyed, some were just such a chore to get thru, not even hard, long unnecessarily long or annoying. Onto the point of then being long, it contributed to the pacing which I was NOT a fan of at all. Probably the worst part of the game and it decreased the value of it across everything because of it. I like the P5 cast and the new additions of Toshiro and Erina were not bad and I think their decent characters, but the pacing around the story made it so hard for me to care, especially when the first 2 kingdoms plot were nothing to write home about and frankly kinda lackluster nothing special. Dreaded playing most of the game and quickly wanted to finish but the game seemed it didn’t want you to do that at all and made everything longer for no fucking reason at all. So in the end, it fucking sucks
(Makoto tho🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️)

Enjoyed the game throughout, especially the World of Balance portion, I thought that was great. World of Ruin was good but at times felt a bit overwhelming for me personally, though me pulling an all nighter to do it in one sitting before the end of the year could've contributed to that

Live Happily or some bullshit, who knows

This somehow felt a fair bit shorter than 1 for me. Prefer 1 to it also. Tho while I think its on the same "level" I think 1 just did better things in gameplay and bosses. 2's plot was different from what I was expecting but still delivered it and the conclusion well

I don't think I've ever seen a game TRY to make you hate it. Its full of BS, Psycho Rage, Panic, Stone, Random Elemental Skills no one has heard of, Invisible Bosses, Calm Sleep, bosses spamming Mudo skill 6 times in a row, etc. there are so many mechanics that are near impossible to maneuver and avoid it can make the game extremely frustrating in its difficulty. But behind that makes it a fun game both in difficulty sense and other aspects. While it can be frustrating, finding different strategies and changing movesets on the fly was something that I appreciated and something new to me (I think unless im forgetting another game I've played does that) and added a new degree to it. The story set up pretty nicely, would've liked a little more interaction between the group of 5/6 main cast but what was there was fine and sequel seems it could be something more. Serph was an alright silent protagonist, I think there's a lot more that could've been done with him cuz he does feel a bit bland or underwhelming

A well crafted fan game, still got DLCs to play, will probably add to review when I get to those. The best fan game/rom hack Ive played I think. Plot was well put out, the OSTs and character designs were made extremely well. Wasnt the biggest fan of the pokedex, not a lot of pokemon I wanted to use but the ones I liked I really did like. The X pokemon and Sound typing were a nice addition

I have no idea where to start. Seeing all the characters grow over the course of 4 VNs was great, don't think that wasn't the case for any of the main cast, even Rikka who I disliked for most of the series lmao. The relationships formed and how they grew was definitely my favourite aspect. The mystery was well built up across the VNs, from the start there was always something built upon, whether it was subtle or in your face. The references to literature, movies, or the secondary meanings to different flowers added so much meaning to different situations throughout, brought me into the series even more. I feel I have so much to say about this, I could keep rambling about it, or just not have the ability to sum it up with words

"So long as we're together. I'm not afraid of anything"
After seeing Yuzu be a side character who was looked up to by every other character so far, having this POV of her, was nice to see what's actually behind her mask. Thought it tackled the conflictions of sexuality and religious faith pretty well, something at least I haven't seen much of in media so far. The extra chapter has me excited to finish this

8.5
Good fun, Erika POV fed me, love her and her personality and probably what makes this better than printemps is Erika's sarcasm and wittiness which I find so similar in myself. Chidori took a while to like but in the end I liked her and more Dahlia focus was nice also

Nice start, good pacing and easy to get through, nothing much else to say as its the first installment of 4. Ig if I had anything to say, it would be about the mystery solving aspect, some clues don't get mentioned in the build up or require you to have knowledge on specific literature or flowers, would've made that aspect more fun to solve if it wasn't exactly like that

7.5/10
TLDR: Great plot with some good SOL bits here and there but the rest of the SOL events and the volume of them and the format of it lets down the VN a bit
I feel this score might be a bit generous cuz it feels like I have a few problems with the VN, I'll talk about the bad and the good though. I found some of the SOL bits boring and dragged, only enjoyed the School Trio, Rin, Caren, Taiga and some of Rider's SOL bits. The format of the VN doesn't really help with it either, was not a fan of the "choose your event" style of the VN as it kind of made it where you are going through dregs of SOL before getting to a plot event and by the time I got there I felt a bit drained. So in short, the plot events were just a bit far inbetween and the SOL should have been more spread out across the VN and I think I would have enjoyed the SOL a lot more. Though I did find the plot events when they came around interesting and didn't actually have any problems with that in itself. Really really like the new character editions in Caren, Angra Mainyu and Bazett. The last segment bit was great to read in one sitting. Maybe overtime my rating is prone to go up as I think about it more but I think this is a good rating for now

It being a gacha destroyed my motivation, sucks cuz it has all the content

Friend tricked me into playing the 2007 version, though not like it made much of a difference. A #goodgame unlike a certain other series. Good pacing and story and gameplay was decent, enjoyed it
OST fucking banged goddamn I love guitars
