I ask myself that same question in your opening fairly regularly. I just fail to get what people enjoy so much about this game outside the novelty of its release. Being able to turn these - at the time - detailed models of every day objects around in your hands, the slow pace of living a (mostly) ordinary life, running around and opening every drawer and every closet... It was doing things that are very small touches or very typical loops now, but at that time it was such a new thing. I wonder sometimes if I might've been more into it then but I couldn't stand it as a first time player when I picked it up like, a year ago.

For what it's worth, 2 is more interesting, and 3 is kind of a fascinating disaster for about thirty minutes to an hour.

@zeroesandones Got pretty hyped up when I found the cassette for the non-vocal version in the game.

@Vysetron I didn't know they were making another game until I finished up the review and realized I should see what else they've done. Immediate wishlist add. Hope it gets a physical release, too.
