I don't know if it's the modernized, remade nature of this game, but I found myself preferring Mafia waaaay more to its sequel in nearly every way. Thing is, story is the big one here; though the game plays with a lot of the same mob movie tropes as 2 did, it feels far more fresh and less clichéd in how it all pans out. The 30s are an unrepresented setting in regards to media, and it was cool seeing all those old cars, take in the sounds and sights of not-Chicago. In all, I enjoyed it.

I can be a robot? AND A DETECTIVE?

I remember liking it, but it's also pretty short. I like the idea of an entire story about an entire world taking place in one innocuous spot.

Simple but extremely effective. The story and characters are well written and the music is excellent. It's one of those games you finish in one sitting yet end up very satisfied.
