played for the research im doing for my next vid. i liked this game. if it was bigger and more developed, i might even love it. i love the idea of playing through the kyoto trip episode of kyou kara ore wa
got this after the gta 6 trailer cuz it's about goddamn time i play this. it's like a worse version of gta 4. i dont like the characters as much as i liked nico bellic, i dont like los santos as much as liberty city. also the problems with the controls remain. too many special vehicle missions. and the fact that you can just skip missions if you suck enough dick is so dumb. like youre just admitting this thing you poured blood sweat and tears into is completely worthless?
i got 3 endings. im tired so ill just watch the rest of them on youtube. i like how much of a pain in the ass this game is, but having a go to guaranteed save spot near the end of the game (no spoilers) really takes away from that pain in the assness. i also think this game is weakest when the characters are directly discussing philosophy.
also, idk how to unpack this but stories that are so nonchalant about sexual cruelty are cathartic in a way. like things ive been too afraid of in my head to deal with, seeing it treated thusly has made it easier for me to think about. like a "cest la vie" type thing but not as defeatist? idk how to discuss this.
coming back to say that i dont think the game has a perfect discussion of sexual cruelty but also that it doesnt need to. it's a different thing. also download the frapollo mod to play this bc there are so many glitches like this one time i kept trying to exit the bedroom at the top of the tower but the game kept crashing.
